Level Crossing with Gate or Barrier Ahead road sign

This Level Crossing with Gate or Barrier Ahead sign (DoT 770) warns drivers and pedestrians that a railway crossing is ahead. Automatic level crossings may also include road markings, audible alarms, warning lights and automatic barriers to provide extra notice when a train is approaching.

Our level crossing signs go beyond standard reflective, weather-resistant construction. Each sign can be finished with a vandal-resistant coating to help prevent damage and keep the message clear and visible in tough conditions. This protection extends service life and reduces replacement costs over time. For added safety, we can customise the sign with clear messages such as “Stop, Look, Listen” to encourage safe behaviour at the crossing and suit the needs of each site.

Built to withstand severe weather, our signs feature an RA2 reflective face to maintain visibility and clarity all year round. The result is a reliable, easy-to-read warning that supports safer behaviour for both pedestrians and drivers.
