Reflective metal cone signs for temporary road works
Chapter 8 Road Works Signs. Often accompanied with diversion signs, the road closed sign is a warning sign to motorists and other road users that there is a closed street ahead. Closed road signs appear on a red background, made from advanced RA2 highly reflective material on a standard sign size, for maximum visibility. Used most commonly during road works when a road closure is necessary, or on construction sites.
Road closure signs should be used in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic signs manual for proper usage, when placing temporary road signs for road works.
