Queues Likely road sign

Drivers don’t always have enough time to react when traffic suddenly stops. The Queues Likely supplementary plate (Diagram 584.1) warns road users that stationary or slow-moving traffic may be encountered where it’s not immediately visible on approach.

It’s useful near sharp bends, over the brow of a hill, and near busy slip roads where a queue can be hidden from approaching drivers. The sign is also suitable for roadworks, lane closures, or other locations where queuing problems can create a safety risk. Unlike traffic lights or roundabouts where drivers would normally expect traffic to stop, this sign is intended for locations where queues may present an unexpected hazard.

Made with an RA2 highly reflective face, this sign provides clear visibility in low-light conditions and is suitable for permanent outdoor use. It is available in a range of standard sizes, with other sizes available on request. The sign can be supplied for wall mounting or with rear channels for post fixing to suit different installation requirements.
