National Speed Limits Apply road sign

This National Speed Limit UK road sign (Diagram 671) is used to show that the national speed limit now applies to the road ahead. It is commonly installed on motorways, single and dual carriageways to indicate the default maximum speed limit for that type of road and class of vehicle.

Manufactured in-house from highly reflective, durable RA2 material on aluminium composite, this circular sign is designed to withstand the elements and provide long-lasting performance on busy routes. The diagonal black stripe on a white background does not show a specific mph value, as the actual limit varies between single and dual carriageways, motorways and built-up areas.

Available in multiple sizes and in both wall-mounted and post-mounted options, this national speed limit sign or repeater sign can be used as a permanent traffic sign on public highways and private roads. It is suitable for use by local councils, contractors and site managers who need clear, compliant speed control signage along single and dual carriageways.

All Hirst speed limit signs are manufactured to UK road sign regulations and legal requirements for reliable speed limit enforcement. Shop national speed limit signs and other speed control signage online at Hirst Signs Ltd – UK sign makers for permanent road traffic signs.
